James A. Wahl

Wahl, James A. Saginaw, Michigan Much loved brother, uncle, nephew and friend passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Covenant-Cooper after a lengthy illness. Age 63 years. James Arthur Wahl was born April 10, 1953 in Saginaw to the late Arlene (Parsons) and Donald F. Wahl. Jim graduated from Saginaw High School in 1971 and later studied Graphic art at SVSU. He had been employed by numerous Saginaw area newspapers and printing businesses. Jim was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He is survived by his sister and brother in law Donna (Wahl) and Tom Gray, Saginaw, two nephews Craig (Annette) Gray and Jeffery (Carol) Gray and six great nieces and nephews Caitlin and Bennett Gray, Spencer and Andrew Gray and Alexis and Adam Weeden, long-time friends Patti (Murphy) and Dennis Jaime, Ricky Murphy and Jerry Kent and cousin Willie (Terry) Wahl and numerous aunts and cousins. Jim was predeceased by his life-long companion Cathy Murphy, parents, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins Cremation will have taken place and a memorial will be held on January 28th, 2017 at 2:00pm at W.L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. where family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Reverend Paul Hinz will officiate. Private interment will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
