James Charles Clement

Clement, James Charles Saginaw, MI Passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. James, age 72 years, was born in Cass City, Michigan October 21, 1942 the son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Gough) Clement. He married Joan McGuire May 27, 1967; they just celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary with family and friends. His faith was extremely important to James and he was an active member and dedicated leader in the Kochville United Methodist Church. James worked as an Engineer for General Motors for 35 years. He was a member and served in several leadership positions in the Bay Metro Officials Association for 38 years. He was also an active lifetime member of the Saginaw YMCA. James and Joan enjoyed traveling together for many years. His true love was spending time with his family, especially at the family cabin in Harrison for 45 years. His family shares a unique and powerful bond of love and support for one another. In addition to his wife, James is survived by two children, Cathy (Ken) Crawford and David (Deinna) Clement; five grandchildren, Jack, Hannah, Russ, Meagan and Alyssa; two brothers, Bud (Rosemary) Clement and Ron (Pat) Clement; many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. The funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Kochville United Methodist Church, 6030 Bay Road. Rev. Rick J. Hodgeson will officiate. Private Entombment will take place. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saturday from 2:00 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 9:00 p.m. and at church Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service.
