Beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021. Age 94 years.
The son of the late David and Dorothy (Maryville) Railling was born June 13, 1927, in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Betty Reese on October 14, 1950. She predeceased him, May 31, 1988. He later married Peggy Hinterman in 1989, she predeceased him in 2015. Jim was employed by Dow Corning Corp and retired from the Social Security Administration. He also worked for Case Funeral Home during his retirement years. Jim loved gardening, fishing, golfing and watching TV.
Surviving are his children, James Railling, Jr; Debra (Doug) Akright; Larry Railling, Dennis Railling, Shelley (Ken) Beaver and Corey Railling; four step-children, Chris (Marcia) Hinterman, Holly (Lloyd) VanMeter; Ted (Juanita) Hinterman and Sandra Hinterman; 13 grandchildren; 10 step- grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Bruno. Besides his spouses and parents, he was predeceased by his son, Rob Railling, his brother, David Railling and his sister, Madeline Lonsway.
Cremation has taken place. No memorial services are planned.
