James Charles Duby

 Passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. Age 61 years.

 James was born January 1, 1963, to Mary (Timm) and David Duby. He was the first-born baby that year in Saginaw. He grew up in Spaulding Township with his two brothers and two sisters. James graduated from Bridgeport High School. Class of 1981. He was a huge fan of Scooby Doo and the Dalmatian dogs from Disney. His work ethic brought him to work at J. C. Penny, working his way up to Maintenance Manager. After leaving that job, he worked at the Horizon Conference Center and Saginaw Geriatrics Home. James made many friends wherever he worked. He had a big heart, great work ethic and a famous Tom Selleck mustache. His last job was at Thomas Township Library, where he made many lasting friends. James was told the library always looked amazing and smelled so clean. The kids that came to the library for Storytime always had to see Jim before they sat down for a story. 

 Surviving are his two brothers, David and Fred and his two sisters, Kathy Wellman and Sharon Strobel; many dear friends.
