Arnold, James F. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at his home, at the age of 94 years. He was born January 10, 1920, in Saginaw, the son of the late Walter and Anna (Smith) Arnold. He served with the US Army during World War II. He married Mary Frances Maturen, who survives him. Jim had co-owned and operated Wilbert Vault Company of Saginaw until retiring about 20 years ago. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Jim enjoyed time spent at his cottage on Van Etten Lake, fishing, water-skiing and spending time with family. Surviving besides his wife are one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cindy Arnold, Saginaw; several grandchildren, two of whom are Chad (Amy) Arnold and Ryan Arnold; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jack; several nieces, nephews, and their families. He was predeceased by a son, James W. Arnold, two sisters, Rosemary Fox Kessler and Ann Symons, and four brothers, Waldo, Charles, Walter and Edward Arnold. Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where his family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. Rev. Fr. Andrew LaFramboise will officiate.
