James F. Matlock Saginaw, Michigan Passed away suddenly September 30, 2015, at the age of 68 years. James was born March 8, 1947, in Rockford, Illinois to the late William and Arlene (Monehan) Matlock. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam aboard the U.S.S. Hancock. Out of college, Jim went to work for Boeing in Seattle, WA for four years. He then moved to Arizona where he worked at Motorola for 25 years, retiring in 1999. He moved to Michigan and continued his career at SWS Trimac in Saginaw until he retired in 2012. Jim is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Jerome) Schultz Matlock; children, Andrew Matlock, Kristy (Allen) Myers, Jason Schultz, Neil (Karissa) Schultz; grandson, Mark Schultz; and siblings, William (Christy) Matlock, John (Pat) Matlock, and Mary (Peter) Mackenzie. Memorial services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Bridgeport Community Church with military honors rendered by VFW Post #1859 of Carrollton. Friends may visit with the family at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
