James "Jim" "JW" William Tuck of Saginaw
Beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully, with his family by his side; while holding his granddaughter's hand, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at HealthSource of Saginaw. He was 83 years old. James William Tuck was born on February 27, 1940, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late James Henry and Elinor (McCarthy) Tuck. He met the love of his life, Elizabeth "Beth" A. Bidwell, through friends and was set up on a blind date. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on May 28, 1965, in Saginaw; she survives him. He attended Arthur Hill Tech, but following the death of his father, he entered the workforce. Jim later went back to school receiving his GED and graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Throughout his life, he worked as a photographer, where he was able to use his creativity, imagination, and attention to detail to create beautiful and stunning photographs with Saginaw Photo for over 20 years. The role of his lifetime, and one he treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and devoted husband, father, and papa. Jim was a longtime and faithful member of Saginaw Wesleyan Church volunteering his time and talent as a custodian, usher, youth pastor, Sunday school teacher, and a board member. His little piece of heaven was listening to polka music, cheering for his favorite hockey team the Detroit Red Wings, and working in his vegetable garden with his granddaughter. He will forever be remembered as a man of great strength and pride, for selflessly taking care of anyone in need, for his beautiful and kind heart of gold, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Beth A. Tuck of Saginaw; a son, Christopher (Chrystal) Tuck of Saginaw; daughter-in-law, Julie Tuck of Saginaw; four grandchildren: Heather Tuck and her boyfriend, Timothy Buckley of Saginaw; Noah Tuck of Saginaw, Alexander Tuck of Saginaw; and Abigail Tuck of Saginaw; brother, Michael Tuck of Minnesota; a sister-in-law, Janis Tuck of Saginaw.
