Beloved husband, brother and uncle, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Age 77 years.

Jim was born on December 27, 1946, son of the late James F. and Geraldine (Spiekerman) Hanley, in Saginaw. He married Camille Awad on December 9, 1972. She survives him. He served proudly in the United States Army and was a Mink Rancher for many years. Jim enjoyed wood carving, caring for and riding horses, and spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor, and could put a smile on anyone’s face. Jim had a big heart and would help anyone he could. 

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Camille Hanley; sister, Jeri (Mark) Neese of Ohio; nieces and nephew, Erin (Keith) Hottle, Mitchell (Jess) Neese, Abby (Ben) Schwieterman, all of Ohio and Laura Neese of Michigan; great nieces and nephew, Claire, Daisy, Hazel, Gabriel James, Ivy and Ellie. He was predeceased by his son, James E. A. Hanley. 

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Ben Schwieterman will officiate. Burial will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors under the auspices of the United State Army. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
