James R. "Cat Man" "Chin Chin" Chinery

Chinery, James R. "Cat Man" "Chin Chin" Lake, Michigan formerly of Saginaw Passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at home at the age 72 years. The son of the late Frederick and Betty (Roby) Chinery was born on August 1, 1941 in Saginaw. Jim married Mary A. Baase in 1980; she survives him. He worked for Super Foods and Nash and Finch Corporation for over 30 years before his retirement. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving besides his wife Mary, are his children; Kirk (Lisa) Chinery, Kelly Zieroff, step-children: Gary (Jamie) Baase, Jamie Sue Danket, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers William (Sharon) Chinery, 3 step-siblings and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
