Janet Arlene (Burk) Barber

Janet Arlene(Burk) Barber, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 75 years, in Saginaw, where she was born on April 9, 1949. A graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Janet was known for her passion for creating cross stitch crafts, a hobby that reflected her caring nature.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Renee) Barber, daughter, Shellene (Michael) Hattersley, and daughter-in-law Sheri Barber. Janet was also a cherished grandmother to Frankie (Ryan) Harrington, Noah Barber, Danielle Hunt, Rachael Hunt, Savannah Barber, Josh (Ashley) Barber, Audra (Ellen) Buchanon, Jaimie (Andrew) King, and Levi (Ashley) Hattersley, and proud of her nine great-grandchildren. Janet is remembered fondly by her two sisters, Jean Burk and Julie Frazer, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Arlene (Cholcher) Burk, and her son, Jeffrey Barber.
