Janice G. Ector

Jan Ector, age 76, of Saginaw, died peacefully at home on February 7, 2024 due to cardiac related complications. She passed in her sleep with her loving husband of 37 years, Don Ector, at her side. Jan was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Mary Bluemer, her sister Vicki Coulouris, her son Robert Ector, and her daughter-in-law Kristi Ector. She is survived by her sister Darlene (Mike) McComb; her children: Jeff, Jim (Aimee), and Shelley (Dave) Waclo, as well as her grandchildren: Samantha, Madison, Pete, Lou and Josie. 

Jan doted on her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. She had strong connections with her extended family members and many close friends that she grew up with in Saginaw. Jan was also a devout Christian and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Jan will be remembered for her faith, “Bluemer humor”, spirited energy, and her deep love and empathy for others.

Please join us on Saturday, February 17, 2024 to celebrate her life and the joy she spread to those around her. There will be a visitation at 10:00 a.m. and funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock, Rev. Dr. William Morris will officiate with a graveside service following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Saginaw at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Parkinson’s Research Foundation.
