Jayden Tyler Overbeck

Jayden Tyler Overbeck of Merrill, Michigan was born May 16, 2007 in East Grand Rapids. He went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Jayden lived his life doing the things he loved most – fishing, farming, spending time with family and friends, and being helpful to all who knew him in any way possible. He was a hard worker, and recently started his dream job at a farm in the area. He was a loving son who adored his family. Jayden had a huge heart for giving and was very involved with his church.

Jayden was preceded in death by his Great Grandma and Grandpa Stalter, Great Grandma and Grandpa Overbeck, Great Grandma and Grandpa Foster, Great Grandpa Rick, Great Grandma Michelle, and his older brother Jacob.

He is survived by his parents Louise and Jeremy Overbeck, Great Grandma Darleen Goodwin, Great Grandpa Arlan Overholt, Papa Jim and Memaw Laurie Overbeck, Papa Scott (Brenda) Foster, Grandma Jackie (Nick) Willis, Aunt Lindsay (Dan) VanDenBerg, Aunt Shannon (Chad) Perkins, Aunt Wendy (Keith) Dunham, Aunt Lindsey (Eric) Possehn, and cousins Wyatt (Casie) Perkins, Blake (Elyse) Perkins, Alyssa Possehn, Ethan Perkins, Mason Possehn, Turan Pektunus, Atesh Pektunus, Harper VanDenBerg, Harrison VanDenBerg, Colter Perkins, Bodie Perkins, and Natalie Perkins, and his closest friends Aiden, Logan and Ben, as well as several Great Aunts and Uncles, Extended Cousins, many friends, his church family, campground family, and farming family.

The family invites you to a viewing on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Merrill Wesleyan Church, 3765 N Chapin Rd, Merrill, MI 48637. The funeral service will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Rev. Brad Harris and Rev. Tim Morris will officiate the service. Following the service friends are invited to join the family for a luncheon at the church.
