Jean Ann Morrison

Passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday October 24th 2018 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born September 14, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to William and Elise (Butzin) Popp. She married Frank Morrison on May 8, 1965 at St. James Lutheran Church in Saginaw. She graduated from Saginaw High in 1962. Family and friends will remember Jean by the love she always had in her heart. She cared deeply for her husband, daughters, and grandkids including the apple of her eye, Easton. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, shopping at Bath and Body Works, and calling her two dearest friends June Agius and Diane Holihan. Jean always enjoyed spending time with her family. She never missed a celebration or sporting event. She always made sure to be punctual and thoughtful when it came to Christmas gifts. Jean has always shared a love for gardening and gambling with her husband but also crafting with her daughters and granddaughters. Her quick wit, feistiness, honest opinions, and caring heart, along with the many deep and personal conversations are just a few things her family will always cherish. She left behind lots of family favorite canning recipes and scrapbooks filled with the ones she loved most. Jean also cared for her two dogs Eddie and Marley, and all of her kitties inside and out. She is survived by: Her husband Frank Morrison, two daughters Tamara (Dave) Black and Sherry (Mark) Schluckebier; 5 grandchildren Karlee (Kyle), Dalton (Jenn), Jenna (Keith), Taylor, and Brooke; one great grandson Easton, one sibling Richard Popp, brother in-laws Dennis Morrison, William Morrison, and sister in-law Rozanne Duve, and many nieces and nephews. Jean is proceeded in death by her brother Ron (Jean) Popp, her mother and father in-law Frank and Lorraine Morrison, and many fury friends whom she considered family. Funeral service will take place at Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Bridgeport Community Church, 3821 State St., Bridgeport. Rev. Ronald L. Sinclair will officiate with burial at Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie HWY on Sunday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and at church on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
