Jean Grey

Passed away April 21, 2020 at the age of 97 years. Jean was a math teacher at Saginaw and Arthur Hill high schools from 1945-67, and systems-wide math supervisor and director of elementary curriculum from 1967-86. Active supporter of AAUW, the Castle Museum, READ, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Saginaw Public Libraries, Saginaw Historical Society, Saginaw Education Association, Saginaw County Association of Retired Educators, and the U of M Alumni Association. Beloved by cousins Nancy, Lisa, Diane, and David Etzwiler, Laurel Snyder Feraco and Wayne Snyder, as well as many wonderful friends and former students; preceded in death by parents, Alice and Douglas Grey, cousins Marion Etzwiler, Nan Walnut, Norma Snyder and Mark Synder, and long-time friend Mary Ewing.
