Jeanne Ann Loiacano

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved mother, nonni, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many, Jeanne Loiacano, on April 22, 2025, in Saginaw, surrounded by her family, at age 79.

Jeanne was born and raised in Saginaw and spent her life devoted to her family and friends. She worked in several family-owned businesses over the years, including Courtesy Bakery and Papa Aledio’s Restaurant, and later in the finance department for local car dealerships. Jeanne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was known for spoiling them every chance she got. She loved dancing, cooking, Elvis Presley, and had a lifelong love for ice cream. The role she treasured and cherished above all others, was spending time with her family and friends, especially cooking spaghetti dinners, as well as spending time by the pool.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Loiacano; her parents, Marie and John Pool; and four brothers: Alvin, Wayne, John “Jack”, and Ron; and sister-in-law: Lorraine and Geri.

Surviving are six children: Mary (Kevin) Robinson, Gina Latty, Michelle (Steve) Lamb, Jackie (Kelly) Loiacano, Leo (Marti) Loiacano, and Jennifer (Kia) Loiacano; 13 grandchildren: Ashley, Brandon, Regan, Jacob, Justin, Ryan, Brendan, Jessica, Dylan, Jordyn, Leo, Anthony, and Lincoln; six great-grandchildren: Curtis, Mia, Graham, Cecilia “Cici”, Regan “Girlie”, and Beckett; three: sisters-in-law: Nancy, Donna, and Dawn. Also surviving are countless nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends too numerous to mention but held closely to her heart.

Honoring Jeanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A service to honor Jeanne’s life will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603. Jeanne’s nephew and Godson, John Pool, will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral chapel on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Michelle Lamb for the support of Jackie Loiacano.
