Jeanne R. Dingler
Merrill, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend passed away suddenly on Monday, August 10, 2020 at her home; at the age of 68 years.

The daughter of the late Robert Francis and Donna Eileen (Rigg) Nohel, Jeanne was born on October 9, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Merrill High School, with the Class of 1970. Jeanne later continued her education at Delta Community College in the Accounting Program, graduating with an Associates Degree. Many in Merrill got to know Jeanne from her 10+ years bartending at Chris's Bar. Her true passion though was for taking care of others, leading her to work in her later years at Heartland Hospice as a compassionate caregiver to many; especially her dear parents who were a integral part of her life. Jeanne enjoyed gardening, canning, doing puzzles, traveling to visit family and sewing. She will be remembered by many for her friendly, social nature, always there to offer up a smile, conversation or a shoulder to lean on. Above all, Jeanne cherished the time spent with her loving family; especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters and three sons: Vickie Dingler; Lonnie “LJ” Dingler; Lorie Dingler; Mike Dingler; Lee Dingler; six grandchildren: Brenan Dingler; Lorenzo Mathis; Parish Perkins; Tia Lane; Jazlyn Lane; Payton Larner; one great-granchild: Parish Perkins Jr; six brothers and one sister: Robert (Linda) Nohel; Thomas (Amy) Nohel; Helen Sue Yuker; Rick (Deb) Nohel; Jay Nohel; Harry Nohel; Donald (Becky) Nohel. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents and beloved older sister: Diana Jessup.

In lieu of a traditional funeral or immediate memorial service, a Celebration of Life for Jeanne will be announced at a later date. Her family will be honoring her wishes and cremation arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Heartland Hospice.
