Jeanne W. Shuell Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother and grandmother passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 9, 2016, in Holland, Michigan, at the age of 85 years. Jeanne W. Boertman was born January 19, 1931, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Ethel (Egan) and Harold Boertman. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1931. She married William Shuell on June 6, 1953; he predeceased her June 26, 2001. She was a member of the Lutheran Faith. She enjoyed simple pleasures, especially time spent with her family, going out to dinner, and her beloved dog, Ginger. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, David William and Cindy Shuell, Holland; her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Jeanne and Rodney Butch, Bay City; seven grandchildren, Kelly Jo LaFrance, Janet Cox, Brody Roznowski, Bill Rhodes, David Shuell II, Tricia (Nicholas) Clark and Sara Butch; five great-grandchildren, Jackson and Morgan LaFrance, Joshua and Nathan Cox and Liam Rhodes. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Anne Shuell in 1981. Funeral service will take place at 2 :00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will be present from 12:00 noon Thursday until the time of service. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Private committal services will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
