Whitson, Jeannette Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday May 26, 2014 at home. At the age of 70 years. Jeannette was born February 11, 1944 in Bay City, Michigan the daughter of the late Peter and Grace (Naffie) Yelle. She had been employed for the past 25 years at Maple Gardens. She was predeceased by her longtime companion and best friend Stan Whyte. Surviving are her siblings; Paul (Diane) Yelle, Albert (Judy) Yelle, Joan (Leon) Parker, Patricia Kirk, Karen Hentzell, Karen (Eddie) Rimmer and Anthony Fossett; six step children Kim, Troy, Bob, Kirk, Heather and Amanda; many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews; many specials friends from Maple Gardens. A memorial service will take place 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 31, 2014 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Lupus Foundation of America or Locks of Love.
