Crandall, Jeffrey X. Birch Run, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, son-in-law, brother, and uncle, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Covenant - Cooper, after a lengthy illness. Age 64 years. He was born September 5, 1953, in Saginaw, the son of Betty Rose (Baker) and the late John Lewis Crandall. He graduated from Gladwin High School with the Class of 1971. He had been a fire-fighter with the Clement Township Volunteer Fire Department, and later worked in security with D.A. Munger Security. He married Kristine Lemmer on July 18, 2009; she survives him. He was a member of the Bridgeport Eagles Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a generous spirit, and enjoyed shopping. Surviving are his wife, Kristine, and his mother, Betty. He also leaves four children, Marcus (Brianna) Crandall, Jeffrey (Ashley Spencer) Crandall, Christy (Bobbie) SchAler, and Ashley Crandall; seven grandchildren, Brian, Mallory, Matthew, Elizabeth, Beth, Autumn, and Peyton; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Hunter; two sisters, Patricia (Joseph) Rocha and Sandy (Jack) Edwards; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Suzanne and Robert Lemmer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Andy Lemmer, Mike (Diana) Lemmer, and Tina (Scott) Mader; many nieces, nephews, and their families; his aunt and uncle, Beatrice and Marvin Fraker; several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, John Crandall, his son, John Lewis Crandall, and his brothers, Jack Crandall, Robert Crandall, Thomas Crandall and George "Butch" McCrary. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, where his family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Chaplain Carol Wesolek will officiate. Cremation will take place following the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the familys wishes.
