Jennie P. (Stajdl) (Bush) Billy Anderson, IN Passed suddenly on Thursday July 2, 2015 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie Indiana, with her daughter at her side at the age of 98 years. The daughter of the late John and Pauline (Sira) Stajdl was born on February 17, 1917, in Chicago, IL and moved to Michigan about 1922. She married Steven C Bush, February 22, 1936, in Merrill Michigan he predeceased her June 26, 1980. She later married Demetrus Billy in 1986 he died December 15, 2001. Jennie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Muncie, for the last 10 years, prior to that she lived in Sun City, AZ for 30 years and before that a member of St Josaphat Catholic Church in Saginaw. Jennie was a bowler of 50 plus years, she loved to knit, crochet, and do needlepoint; she enjoyed going to the casinos, traveling and driving. One of her greatest joy was playing cards with her grandchildren and teaching the great-grandsons how to play Kings in the Corner. Jennie had a great sense of humor years ago when Steven was alive they loved to dance the polka at the ZCBJ hall in St Louis MI, with all their friends from Breckenridge. Jennie was a member of the ZCBJ Lodge 225 in Bannister MI for 79 years, and she worked at Wiechmans in Saginaw for many years. Steve and Jennie owned the Spot Lunch on Baum St. in Saginaw for 7 years. Jennie was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Surviving are her children Barbara Lombardi Brewster of Muncie IN, James C. (Kathleen) Bush of Roscommon, MI; 2 step-children John (Dorothy) Billy and Joyce Billy of Ohio, four grandchildren and their spouses: Matthew J. (Sioban) Lombardi, Mark D. (Cynthia) Lombardi, Ann Marie (Gordon Mark) Lombardi-Mills, Brian C Bush Sr.; 7 great-grandsons Tyler, Kyle and Chris Lombardi. Joshua, Jordan, and Jacob, Brian C Bush Jr. three sister-in-laws: Pauline (Paul) Hackett, Helen McDougall, Bernice Stajdl, and several nieces and nephews. Jennie also leaves behind her best friend of 60 plus years Arlene Roenicke. Jennie was also predeceased by a baby sister Anna in 1916, her brothers John and Frank Stajdl, a nephew Phil Stajdl and two step-children David Billy and Marlene Kopinsky. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic in Merrill. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate with burial at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ryan. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral mass. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
