Jennifer Lynn Louks

Louks, Jennifer Lynn Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife, mother, daughter and friend, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the age of 37 years. She is survived by her husband, Brian; daughter, Julia Rose; parents Judyanne R. (Chase) and James C. Geese; cherished aunt, Rosemary Taft; brother, Jeffery Geese; father-in-law; Donald (Cheryl) Louks; mother-in-law Marlene (Gary) Malhado; brother-in-law Roger (Sherrie) Louks, sister-in-law Jennifer (Bill) Briggs; godparents, Rodney and Karen Chase; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jennifer was born March 1, 1974 in Saginaw. She was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and earned her teaching degree at Saginaw Valley State University. She was employed by Consumers Energy and was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church where she served in the choir, played handbells, and coached softball. Jennifer enjoyed many hobbies including photography, paper-crafting, jewelry-making, baseball, and music. Jennifer was well-loved for her bubbly attitude, her amazing sense of humor, and her beautiful smile. Her warm and caring personality as well as her generous spirit will never be forgotten. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5250 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw. Rev. Homer Mosley will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, and also on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider a donation to a college scholarship fund for Jennifer's daughter Julia.
