Toronjo, Jerome Lee Saginaw, Michigan Loving brother, uncle and friend passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the age of 72 years. The son of the late Cecil Jerome and Mary Ellen (Asphaugh) Toronjo was born on February 8, 1945 in Saginaw. Jerome enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Surviving are his siblings: Sandra Near, Auralie Warren, Faye (Edward) Crisp, Albert Toronjo, Rev. Mark (Christina) Toronjo, Linda Horenziak and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers: Louie Toronjo, George Toronjo, and Timothy Toronjo. The family would like to thank Geddes Home and Hometown Hospice for the loving and wonderful care they gave Jerome. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway. His brother, Rev. Mark Toronjo will officiate with burial at Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
