JoAnn Marie McQuaid of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. She was 88 years old. Joann Marie Milano was born on March 31, 1936, in St. Charles, Michigan, to the late Louis and Olga (Bruno) Milano Jr. She was a proud graduate of St. Charles High School. A homemaker her entire life, JoAnn loved the role of wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a longtime and faithful member of St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church. JoAnn was an avid reader and later in life also enjoyed listening to books on tape. She loved scrapbooking family photos, as well as crafting and creating birthday and holiday cards for all she loved. JoAnn also found peace and tranquility tending to her garden. She will forever be remembered for her selflessness to anyone in need, for her love of cats, especially Molly and Sarah, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.
Surviving are two children: Lynn A. Colbert of Saginaw; Michael J. McQuaid of Zilwaukee; two granddaughters: Stacie Lynn Alcorn of Saginaw; Maureen E. (John) Day of Bloomington, IN; and a great-grandson, John Day Jr.
