Joanne L. Draper

Draper, Joanne L. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the age of 72 years. Joanne was born August 22, 1941, to the late Arthur and Mary (Sageman) Sandow. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. After receiving her degree she worked at an accounting firm in Chicago for 4 years before returning to Saginaw to marry and raise a family. She married Reed T. Draper on October 29th, 1966. He predeceased her on April 22nd, 2004. Joanne thoroughly enjoyed her family, gardening, painting, travel and volunteer work. Surviving her are two children, Sage (Rob) Roy and Andrew (Michon) Draper; three stepchildren, Rob (Lisa) Draper, Randy (Barb) Draper and Mimsy (Bill) Brisbois; one brother, Jerry (Linda) Sandow; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A Celebration of Life will take place at Horizons Conference Center, 6200 State St. Saginaw, MI 48603, on Saturday June 21st from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
