Joanne M. McGuire

McGuire, Joanne Saginaw, MI Passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Covenant Cooper at the age of 86 years. Joanne McGuire was born December 27, 1929, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Arthur and Charlotte (Howell) McGuire. She was a legal secretary for the City of Saginaw, the County of Saginaw, and the State of Michigan. Joanne was a member of the League of Women Voters, a generous volunteer for the American Cancer Society, and loved spending her free time with family, gardening and travelling. Joanne is survived by a sister and a brother, Marilynn J. Gorman and James B. (Sandy) McGuire; a sister-in-law, Judie McGuire; her nieces and nephews, Michael McGuire, Michelle (Steve) Ross, David Breeman, Daniel (Natalie) Breeman, Melissa (Brian) DevlescHoward, Melanie (Brent) Sodergren, and James (Carri) McGuire; many great and great, great nieces and nephews; and a step-niece and two step-nephews, Kathy Jo (Joe) Morris, Brian (Karen) Gorman, and Michael (Jane) Gorman. She was predeceased by a brother, Patrick A. McGuire, and a brother-in-law, John V. Gorman. In accordance with her wishes, there will be a private family funeral service.
