Beloved by many, Joel Fribley passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. He was 64 years old. Joel Allen Fribley was born on March 7, 1956, in Ubly, Michigan, to the late Jack Geary and Orpha Jean (Allen) Fribley. He was a 1974 graduate of Arthur Hill High School where he actively participated in the choir and many musicals. Following graduation, Joel attended Delta College. He married Barbara Lachcik-Wilczynski; she preceded in death on February 21, 2015. Joel was gifted musically, playing both keyboard and guitar, as well as singing in many bands over the years. As a young man, Joel enjoyed bowling. Above all, Joel loved spending time with all of his high school circle of friends.
Surviving are a brother, Jerome (Barbara) Fribley of Mt. Pleasant and family; and many good friends he met throughout his life.
Honoring Joel’s wishes cremation has taken place with a private celebration of his life to be held by his close friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to the W. L.
