John A. Lloyd

Our loving husband, father and grandfather passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018, in Hesperia where he truly loved to be. Age 70 years. He was born on August 1, 1948, son of the late Daniel and Ella Mae (Lester) Lloyd, in Dyess, Arkansas. John married Cheryl Childs on August 10, 2000. She survives him. He retired from Biggard Oil Company as a Deck Hand after many years of service. He was a member of the Carrollton-Zilwaukee Eagles 4413. John loved spending time in Hesperia, relaxing with a cold beer and being with his family. John will be sadly missed by his wife, Cheryl; children, Steven and Melissa, Forest and Angela, Melissa and Ernesto, Jerry and Heather, Jason and Lacey and Julie and Scott; 17 grandchildren, including his very special grandchildren, Mariah and Steven (Scooter); 6 great grandchildren, his brothers, sisters, several nieces, nephews and special friend, Dale Weaver. A celebration of Johns life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Drakes Bar, 5463 Dixie Highway.
