Beagle, John B. Sr. Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the age of 90 years. He was born May 29, 1926 in Creston, Ohio to the late Carl and Jenny (Coulter) Beagle. He served with the U. S. Army during WWII. He married Betty Louise Acker on December 9, 1944; she survives him. He had been employed as a lab technician at Dow Chemical for 35 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church, Hemlock where he served as an usher. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved golfing and dancing. Besides his wife, Betty, he is survived by three daughters and one son, Thomas (Terry) Beagle, Hemlock, Angela King, Ashland, Ohio; Benita Snyder, St. Charles; Catherine (Timothy) Krause, St. Charles; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; one brother, Thomas Beagle; many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by three sons, John Beagle, Jr., William Beagle and Joseph Beagle. He was also predeceased by two grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church, 151 St. Mary Rd., Hemlock. Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd., from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. on Monday. They may then visit at the church from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of funeral liturgy.
