John Joseph Bosley

Beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side, on Monday, March 3, 2025, at UM Health – Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He was 37 years old. John Joseph Bosley was born on July 11, 1987, in Saginaw, Michigan, to John R. and Kathy H. (Archambault) Bosley. He attended Birch Run Public Schools and Arthur Hill High School. He met the love of his life and soulmate, Kelbi Lynn Clarke, through his youngest sister. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on December 4, 2015, in Tawas, Michigan; she survives him. He was an avid football fan often cheering for his favorite teams, the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan. John also enjoyed playing video games on his Play Station 5 (PS5), especially Madden, Black Ops, and Grand Theft Auto. His hobbies included learning about guns, anything to do with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, watching Cooking programs, and working in his rose and vegetable gardens. John’s little piece of heaven was spending time with his nieces and nephews, caring for his fish, and loving on his beloved dogs, Ghost, Skye, and Scarface. He truly was the heart of his entire family and affectionately known as “Boogie Man” by his siblings. He will forever be remembered for his loyalty to those he loved, for his selflessness and kindness to those in need, for his wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories. 

Surviving are his uncle, Wonk Wonk Bosley; wife, Kelbi Lynn Bosley; father, John (Joan) Bosley; mother, Kathy (Pero) Archambault, stepfather, Jerry Zissler; brother’s and sisters: Christina (Chris) Archambault; Lenny (Casey) Archambault – his best friend; Hope (Pinhead) Warren; Connie (Lyle) Patterson; Gerilee Bosley; Sasha (Justin) Bosley; Georgina (tater tot) Bosley; Kevin (Ashley) Bosley; Crystal (Kevin) Dey; Sasha (Jay) Bosley; Joshua (Kaitlyn) Vinova; mother- and father-in-law, Paula and Shaun Clarke; brother-in-law, Kieran (Sam) Clarke; sister-in-law, Khindra Clarke; 35 nieces and nephews: Erica (Don); Emery (Breanna) Mya; Austin; Jr; Boosie; Julie; Rose; William; Jordan; Kadence; Joy; Kota; Adalai; Amia; KJ; Antonio; James; Faith; Isabelle; Donny, Naveah, Kael; Ethan; Derek; Dom; Willa; Parker; Soren; Shylo; Xavier; Ariyah; Analiesa; Adelyn; Easton; Archer; Ryan; Dorian; an aunt, Paula Archambault. 

He was preceded in death by his dogs: Opposition, Zeus, Bruh Bruh, Thuggie, Karma and Kane; nephew, Nathaniel; grandparents: Papa Archambault, Nana Archambault, and Grandma Bosley; and an aunt, Angie Bosley. 

A funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Honoring John’s wishes, cremation will follow the service. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Friends of the Saginaw County Animal Care Center.
