Presley, John Edward Saginaw, Michigan Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the age of 75 years. The son of the late Francis and Edna (Vandenbossche) Presley Jr. was born July 7, 1940 in Mt. Clemens, MI. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Mt. Clemens, the class of 1958. John served in the U.S. Navy. He married Connie Lynn Avritt on September 28, 1968; she survives him. John retired from Malleable Iron in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most especially enjoyed time with his family at Duck Lake. Surviving besides his wife of 47 years, Connie are his children: Dawn Marie Walter, John Edward Bluemlein, Michael John (Melanie) Presley, Michele Lynn (Ted) Grigg, Matthew Thomas (Tami) Presley, grandchildren: Jessica (Tyler) Deal, Jaclyn (Matthew) Farrell, Jason Walter, Blake Bluemlein, Andrew Grigg, Alec Presley, Hunter Grigg, Jacob Grigg, Bailey Bluemlein, Bregan Grigg, Maris Presley, great-grandson Benen Deal, his siblings: Francis (Maryellen) Presley III, Kathleen Presley-Simons, Robert (Linda) Presley, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by a brother Thomas Presley. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Fresenius Medical Care and Covenant Hospital for the excellent care they gave John. Funeral service will take place at Monday, November 30, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Fr. David Parsch will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
