Baker, Sr., John F. "Jack" Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the age of 83 years. The son of the late Ralph and Ella (Stolz) Baker was born on September 10, 1929 in Saginaw. He graduate from Arthur Hill High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Donna Jean Monroe; she predeceased him in 1977. He later married Marie H. (Marshall) Vallier on March 25, 1978; she survives him. Jack retired from Lyons Trucking Service after 38 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Club. He attended St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Jack enjoyed traveling and camping, listening to country western music and watching his favorite TV shows. Surviving besides his wife, Marie are his children; Janice Tuck, Terri (Ralph) Dezewiecki, Dennis (Kathy) Vallier, John Baker, Christina Greenia, Dennis (Joann) Gulliver, Deborah (Randy) Reinert, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several other dear family members. He was predeceased by daughter, Vicki Wolfe, grandson Eric Beyerlein, son-in-law Dale Tuck. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 6065 King Rd. Burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
