Passed away unexpectedly June 20, 2022, at the age of 68.

The son of the late Paul and Marion (Magyar) Mureiko was born October 2, 1953, in Saginaw. John was vibrant, adventurous and full of life. He often vacationed in Isla Mujeres and enjoyed kayaking, bicycling, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, ziplining; anything to get his adrenaline pumping. John also enjoyed photography and generously took senior photos for children who couldn't afford them. Above all he loved spending time with his family. He was an awesome dad and grandpa. John will always be remembered for his infectious personality and happy disposition.

Surviving are his fiancé, Dawn Simerson, three daughters: Jaime (Russell) Lietzke, Kelly (Robert) White, and Kristin (Lucky) Singh; and three grandchildren: Mikayla, Carley, and Sydney.

Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his brother, Paul Mureiko.

Honoring John's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Saginaw County Animal Care Center.
