Loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on July 8, 2020 at the age of 73. John was born on May 15, 1947 to the late Charles L. and Mildred H. (Beeman) Taylor in Saginaw. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School and later married Gloria Gahan in August of 1985.
John was employed with Michigan Bell, he retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
John is survived by his wife Gloria, children Amy (David) Begler, Russ Taylor, Robert (Davina) Reid, Kim (Sean Mcpadden) Reid and his grandchildren David Begler, Carsten Taylor, Steele Mcpadden and Zoey Spraggins. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Emerick, brother Tom Taylor and his brother in law Roger Tawney.
John was predeceased by his sister Lois Tawney.
Honoring John’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Community of Christ Church, 300 N. Center Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48638.
