John Wesley Wood Merrill, Michigan Passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. Age 38 years. The son of Esther Marie (Bott) and Ronald John Wood was born July 10, 1975 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of Merrill High School, Class of 1994. He learned welding at the Career Opportunity Center and had been employed by St. Charles Lumber Co. and later by Monk's Tree Service. He enjoyed riding four wheelers and mud bogging. Surviving besides his parents are a brother, Robert Wood and his fianc, Kaitlyn; a sister, Martha Wood; his niece and nephew, Brittany and Ronny; his special friend, Kathleen Little and her daughter, Helena Priemer; his life long friend, Robin McCartney and her daughter, Lindsay. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie, and his grandparents. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, in Merrill. Rev. Jeffrey Williams will officiate. Friends may call at the Chapel from Noon Wednesday until the time of the funeral service. www.casefuneralhome.com
