Joseph Edward Kaufmann of Hemlock, Michigan
Born November 18, 1946, the only son of Edward and Isabell Kaufmann, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. To cherish his memory he leaves his wife, Joy; his four children and their families: Jamie and Brenda Kaufmann, Jennifer and Kevin Keenan J.D., and Sheri Kaufmann, Joe and Michele Kaufmann. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren: Kasey and Brian Honaman, David and Megan Keenan, Chris and Hillary Kaufmann, Nick and Natalie Kaufmann, Austin, Dani, Bailey, and Joe Kaufmann.
He was blessed to have three beautiful great-grandchildren: Payton and Tyler Honaman, and Waylon Keenan, who he truly loved.
He is survived by his sisters: Virginia VanderVeen and Lorain (Gary) Garno.
A sister, Geraldine Rappley predeceased him.
He also leaves his brothers-in-law: Jeff (Jennifer) Nothelfer and Dan (June) Nothelfer. Joe is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was one of the original owners of Magnum Construction and later he and his family built Twin Bridges Golf Course.
