VanHorn, Joseph Floyd Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 16, 2016, at his home, at the age of 60 years. He was born August 22, 1955, in Saginaw, the son of the late Floyd and Marion (Gilbert) VanHorn. He was a Licensed Practical Nurse, working in various nursing homes and long term care residences in Michigan and Oregon. He made his home in Oregon for the past 30 years, where he met and married Charlotte S. Pagano in 1996, returning to Saginaw three years ago. He was a member of Abundant Life Church in Saginaw. He was a stand-up comedian. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; one son, Tim VanHorn, Saginaw; one step-daughter, Sherry Able, Oregon; seven grandchildren, Riley, Delaney, Chase and McKinsley VanHorn; Pahl Pagano, Tabitha and Aaron Able; one great-grandson, Kenyen; another great-grandchild on the way; one sister, Grace VanHorn, Saginaw; one brother, Mike VanHorn, Florida; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward VanHorn. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Abundant Life Church, 2740 McCarty Road, with Rev. Steven Bishop officiating.
