Joseph Frank Kricher Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Schnepp Senior Care and Rehab Center in St. Louis. Age 94. The son of the late Alex and Mary (Krupinski) Kricher was born April 22, 1920, in Hemlock. Joe was a lifetime farmer in the Hemlock area and loved the outdoors. He worked very hard on his homestead farm and neighboring farms his entire life. He was always willing to lend a hand when asked. Joe loved his chickens, cats, and pigeons and always had a smile on his face. Surviving are 3 brothers, 3 sisters and their spouses, Pauline Michels, Saginaw; Isabelle Marko, Jerry Kricher, Agnes Smith, Larry Kricher, all of Hemlock; Holly and Betty Kricher, Oakley; one sister-in-law, Ann Kricher, Hemlock; many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by 3 sisters and 5 brothers, Christine Van Slooten, Oliver, Albert, Aaron, LaVerne, Norman and Geraldine Kricher, Ernestine Kricher; 2 infant brothers, Francis and Gerald; and brother- and sister-in-laws, John VanSlooten, Edward Marko, Catherine Kricher, Elaine Kricher, and Virginia Kricher, Karen Kricher. Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, where his family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Friday until the time of service. Rev. Duane Wachowiak will officiate. Private committal services will take place at a later time at St. Andrew Cemetery, Saginaw.
