Joseph James Fish, was born in Chicago, IL, on June 27, 1949, and then moved to Saginaw, Michigan. The Heavens gained an Amazing Angel on February 17, 2019 when Joseph joined them. Josephs life has always been about putting the needs of everyone he knew ahead of his own. He was always a caring, supportive, loving, husband to his wife, Lee, who will miss him dearly. Father to his sons, Joe (Amy), Mike, Lenny (Mia), Gregory (Ashlee), Dan (Mary), and daughter, Tish (Bob). Papa to his grandsons, Gregory Jr. and Jaxon. Grandpa to grandsons, Nate, Sam, Boston, Landon, Triston and granddaughters, Abagail and Addison. Brother to Bill, Pat and Peggy and uncle to Anne, Bobby, Brenda and many more nieces and nephews and a great uncle to Jake, Bobby, Shantel and many more great nieces and nephews.
Joseph was proud of being a marine, and he was dedicated to his work for 33 years for Walgreens as a manager. He touched many peoples lives in those 33 years and made a difference in so many ways to his co-workers, employees and customers. He will always be remembered by many for two statements he was famous for: One, "Theres never a problem, its just a situation!" and two, "You need to climb the ladder and take a look at the overall picture!" Joseph spread positive energy on everyone every day he went to work, he always said, "I have no room for negativity!"
Joseph is now with his family in Heaven, his granddaughter, Amira Carolyn, his parents, Richard and Ellafern, his brothers: Bob, Dick, his sisters: Shirley, Molly, Beverly, Mary, Kay, his in-laws, Leonard and Elizabeth, his best friend, Carl, and many more family members and friends.
Our hearts are broken because we have had to let Joseph go, and as hard as it is, we know he is free of pain and suffering no more and he now has his quality of life back in Heaven. There will always be an empty place in our lives without him that will never go away. But we know he is watching over us and smiling because he is still with loved ones from his family. We will look for you Joseph, in the sunsets on the deck, in the brightest star in the sky, in the warm breeze that brushes across our faces, in the moon smiling on us at night, and in every sign of Heavens Nature that he sends us. We will hold onto Joseph strong in our hearts and our minds. We will carry with us each day the love Joseph gave to us and all the special days we shared with him while we were fortunate enough to have him with us in our lives.
