Joseph Jastrzemski, a life-long resident of the Saginaw community, beloved father and grandfather passed away on January 17, 2025, and was reunited with his mother, Edwina in Heaven. Born on October 16, 1965, Joe never met a day he couldn't turn into an adventure.
Familial bonds were everything to Joe, and his crafty charm ensured he made lasting memories. He cherished each moment spent with his children: Stephanie (Jason) Whiteaker, Joey Pignatelli, Jessica (Michael) Orozco, and Joseph Ostrander-Jastrzemski. He is remembered as a beloved grandfather who held an unwavering love for his grandchildren. Breona, Hailey, Emmalee, Abby, Mateo, and Michael can attest to this; their grandfather would have moved mountains just to keep them smiling. Words such as “no” and “not now” simply did not exist in his vocabulary when they were around. Joe’s sisters also survive him: Linda and Shelley along with his step-father Richard Murday and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is now reunited with his parents, Joseph Limon and Edwina Jastrzemski Murday, in what’s probably one great reunion with past relatives.
Joe’s funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider the wishes of the family.
