Joseph Lee Propp

Propp, Joseph Lee Bay City, Michigan Beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 11, 2017, at his home, at the age of 14 years. He was born October 28, 2003, in Saginaw, the son of Katie Lee Sellers and Robert Lance Propp. He attended Western Middle School. He was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship and was active in its Youth Group. He enjoyed riding his go-cart and dirt bike. For the first time this year, he went hunting and fly fishing. Surviving besides his mother, Katie, and father, Robert, are two sisters and one brother, Emily, Tyler and Willow; his grandparents, Marie and Jack Walter, and Steven and Laura Propp; great-grandparents, Robert and Virginia Propp, Irene Stevens; aunts and uncles, Ashley (Kenneth) Harris, Jeremy Woollett, and Daniel (Elizabeth) Propp; cousins, Isabelle, Hailey, Lili Anne, Jerry and Lavinia; great-aunts and great-uncles, Bonnie Dutcher, Donna (Douglas) LaBeff, Kathy (Robert) Girardin, Dale Stevens, Brenda (John) Wiegand, Bonnie (Wesley) Baldwin, Michael (Tanya Wright) Vertrees, Robert (Molly Snyder) Vertrees, Sandra Brown, Connie Sellers, and Steven Sellers; and second cousins: Jennifer, Jessica, Jason, Josh, Tommy, Stephanie, Johnny, Todd, Karen, Aaron, Ashley, Amber, Robert, Billy, Taylor, Amanda, Colton, Brenton, Emme, Madison, Ayla and Josh; many other loving relatives, including Aunt Marieanne Boyd; and many friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Alivia Jade; grandfather, Joseph Sellers; great-grandparents, Robert William Delfs, Gayl Hall Vertrees, Jeanette Sellers, Carl Sellers and James Henry Stevens; an great-uncle, Bill Stevens; and special family friend, Joseph Lee Zietz. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017, at New Life Christian Fellowship, 6115 Shattuck Road, where visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until the time of service.
