Josephine Ann Yerkie

Josephine Ann Yerkie Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Shattuck Manor surrounded by her family. Age 94 years. She was born October 15, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Camillo and Anna (Scalisi) Cicinelli. She married Stanley Yerkie in 1954. He passed away in 1995. Surviving are one brother and his wife, George and Margaret Cicinelli; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Cicinelli; Marion Cicinelli; Joann Carlson; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Peter Cicinelli, William Cicinelli, sister, Frances and her brother and sister-in-law, Salvator and Ann Cicinelli. The funeral liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St. Saginaw. Rev. Randy Kelly will officiate with entombment in St. Andrew Mausoleum. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral liturgy.
