Joyce A. Czerwinski

Joyce A. (Jo) Czerwinski Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014, in Traverse City, Michigan. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late E.F. (Ted) and Gladys (Nichols) Booth was born October 27, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was also predeceased by her step-mother, Curly Booth. Joyce married Harry F. Czerwinski, October 5, 1946. He passed away February 9, 2010. She had been employed by General Motors, Grey Iron Foundry and later by Ray F. Bartels Plumbing and Heating, retiring in 1982 with 17 years of service. She was a life-long member of St. John Episcopal Church. She and her husband had loved to travel, touring the country in a motor home. They also spent winters in Florida and summers in East Tawas. She enjoyed bowling and was active with the Girl Scouts of America. Surviving are two children, Connie (Michael) Liszewski, Traverse City, MI; Bob (Emily Duby) Czerwinski, Saginaw, MI; two grandchildren, Joe (Kate Burwinkel) Liszewski; Rob (Bethany Schmid) Liszewski; two great grandchildren, Caleb and Lucas Liszewski; a brother and sister, William (Ann) Booth; Shirley (Bill) Myers; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Robert Booth, has predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at St. John Episcopal Church, 123 N. Michigan Ave. Saginaw. The Rev. Daniel Cannon will officiate. Friends may call at the Church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
