Beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away on January 8, 2019 at the age of 74 years. The daughter of the late Lavern and Gwendolyn (Bixby) Rogers was born on April 22, 1944 in Saginaw. She married Ronald Lee Demand on February 29, 1964; he predeceased her on June 26, 2007. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #4217. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, hunting, traveling but most especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children: Debra Demand ONeil, Lori (Tim) Hawes, Todd (Joelle) Demand, Aaron (Sarah) Demand, grandchildren: Garrett (Megan) Demand, Shea ONeil, Spencer Demand, Bailey ONeil, Steven Hawes, Andrew Hawes, Maya Demand, Kyle Demand, Emily Demand, her brother Jerry (Marylou) Rogers, her companion Wayne Young and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides her parents and her husband, Ronald, she was predeceased by her siblings: Birt (Louanne) Rogers, Roy Rogers, Kay (Ken) Kaufman. A celebration of her life will take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
