Joyce Delores Beyersdorf

Joyce Delores Beyersdorf Hemlock, MI Joyce was born to Seth and Cora (nee Dennis) Spurbeck on October 26 1927. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt and neighbor, will be missed by all who knew her. After starting piano lessons at age 4, music became a large part of her life till her death March 27, 2018. She married the love of her life, Albert Carl Beyersdorf Jr, (who predeceased her in July of 1992) on January 7, 1950 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hemlock where she remained a member until her death. She was also predeceased by a sister, Lois Stone. Those left to celebrate her life and grieve her loss are four sons, Boyd "Skip" (Lenda) Beyersdorf, Hemlock, Michael (Cheri) Beyersdorf, Kihei Maui, Hawaii, Randy(Mindy) Beyersdorf, Hemlock, and Robert (special friend Lisa) Beyersdorf, Charlotte, North Carolina. Also mourning the loss are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two sister-in-laws, Donna McKibbon and Ruth Kimsel. Also the many students and co-workers she had over her long teaching career, the people she met and worked with at the Saginaw County Fair and many other organizations, plus to those she brought joy to in the nursing homes she visited with her keyboard and the old songs she and those residence knew so well. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at St John's Lutheran Church 2290 Pretzer Rd in Hemlock. Rev. Phil Bigelow will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. on Thursday April 5, 2018 from 2:00 until 8:00 PM and on Friday at church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
