Joyce E. Diener

Diener, Joyce E. Merrill, Michigan Passed away Saturday May 3, 2014 at the age of 70 years. Joyce was born August 10, 1943, the daughter of the late Arnold and Anna (Fischer) Pretzer Sr. She married August E. Diener July 31, 1965. He predeceased her January 6, 1993. She was also was predeceased by her father and mother in-law Fred and Caroline Diener and by two brothers two sisters and four brother-in-laws and two sister-in-laws. Joyce is survived by eight brothers and two sisters, seven brother-in-laws 16 sister-in-laws and by longtime friend Ted Gehoski. Joyce was a lifelong member of St John Ev. Lutheran Church Hemlock. The family would like to thank Wellspring Hospice and their staff. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 7, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church 2290 Pretzer Rd. Hemlock, Michigan Rev. Phil Bigelow will officiate. Burial to follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Rd. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. John Ev. Lutheran Church or Wellspring Hospice of Frankenmuth.
