Joyce Elaine (Holeman) Rydman of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. She was 83 years old. Joyce Elaine Brown was born on August 4, 1937, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Eber Hartsef and Virginia Margaret (Bellnap) Brown. She was a proud 1955 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, Joyce worked as a secretary for Second National Bank. She married James Wayne Holeman on November 22, 1955, and worked as a secretary with the Holeman Construction Company. Joyce later married Gerald Francis Rydman on March 21, 1983 in Saginaw; he survives her. She was a devoted and faithful member of Grace Baptist Church. She left an indelible mark in this world by reaching out and communicating with all she loved. Joyce will forever be remembered for her honesty, gracefulness, and beautiful and kind spirit.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald F. Rydman of Saginaw; son, Glenn (Cathy) Holeman of Austin, TX; daughter, Marsha (Ben) McNally of Merrill; son-in-law, Michael Coon of West Branch; seven grandchildren: Leanne Coulson of West Branch; Tonya Jones of FL; Jessie Jones of FL; Heather McNally of Freeland; Jared McNally of Grand Rapids; Frankie Geddie of TX; several great-grandchildren; four sisters: Linda Calaway of Merrill; Jeanne Walsh of Saginaw; Alverda LaLonde of Sanford; Patricia Gooding of Lansing.
She was preceded in death by a former spouse, Jim Holeman; two daughters: Janet Lee (Coulson) Coon and Donna Sue (Holeman) Jones; a grandson, K.C. Coulson; brother, Roger Brown; two brothers-in-law, Robert Walsh and Fred Calaway.
