Joyce Jordan Saginaw, MI (recently resided in Grand Rapids, MI) Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the age of 82 years. The daughter of the late John Grant and Esther (Goodell) Grant, was born on September 8, 1936 in Toledo, OH. She graduated from Owosso High, the class of 1954. Joyce married Richard Jordan on January 26, 1955; he predeceased her on October 23, 2001. She retired from Starline Kitchen and Bath after 30 years in the kitchen and bath designing business. Joyce loved spending time with her family, enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge, tearing up the dance floor and went to the Casino any chance she could-win or lose! Surviving are her children: Doug (Mary) Jordan, David (Linda) Jordan, Lisa (Scott) Millard, John Jordan; grandchildren: Sarah Laux, Scott Jordan, Heather Jordan-Cutcher, Mark Jordan, Ryan Mohland, Jessica Klas, Jeffrey Millard, Tyler Stafford, Matt Jordan; 7 great-grandchildren with one more due in February; siblings: Gary (Pat) Grant; special son-in-law Aaron Stafford; nieces: Ann Claussen, Susan Hoskins, Kristen Grant; nephews: Matt Lewis, Mike Jordan; and many other relatives and friends. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by death by her beloved daughters: Lynn Jordan and Leanne (Aaron Stafford) Jordan; and her sister: Sharon Grant. Memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service.
