Rodriguez, Juan Ruben Saginaw, Michigan Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. Juan was born in San Antonio, Texas December 10, 1945 the son of the late Fermin and Margarita (Consemio) Rodriguez. He married Juanita Espinoza November 2, 1990 and she survives him. Juan worked at General Motors, Malleable Iron Foundry for 38 years, retiring in 1999. He was a Grand Knight and Worthy Navigator in the Knights of Columbus, Rainbow Council, No. 12684. Juan loved to work on old cars, listen to music and dance. He was a very outgoing person and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Juan is survived by seven children, Juan (Devonna) Rodriguez, Maria (Lionel) Braddock, Carlos Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Tina (Marcus) Bernal, Tony Troy Olgine, Sr. and Lori (Roy) Ramirez; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Yolanda Duranso; a sister-in-law, Rosie Rodriguez and a brother-in-law, Adolfo Espinoza, Jr.. He will also be missed by his constant companion, his dog Mitsy Rodriguez. He was predeceased by his siblings, Mike Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, Mary Lou Clark, Chico Rodriguez and Dora (Rudy) Rodriguez. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 915 N. 6th St. Rev. Fr. Frank Voris will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Sunday from 2:00 9:00 p.m. where the rosary will be prayed by Knights of Columbus, Rainbow Council #12648 at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. The family would like to express their thanks to the VNA Hospice and the staff at Covenant Healthcare, 7th floor Harrison for the loving care they showed to Juan.
