Devoted Christian and beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the age of 60 years. The daughter of the late Thomas and Marcelina (Flores) Rosales was born on November 7, 1958 in Thomaston, Texas. She married Filiberto I. Escobedo on April 23, 1998; he survives her. Juanita retired from A T & T after 34 years of service. She then continued to work as a substitute teacher and enjoyed helping out in the classroom. She was a member of First Assembly of God and loved to help people, including volunteering as a mentor for foster children and at senior care centers. Juanita especially cherished time spent with her family and friends. Surviving besides her husband of 20 years, Filiberto, their daughter, Genesis Escobedo, her siblings: Paul Rosales, Raymond Rosales, Marcelina (Raynaldo) Rosales Garza, Thomas (Andrea) Rosales II, Gloria Lara, Abraham (Elisa) Rosales, Jeronimo (Maria) Rosales, Enrique Rosales, Roberto Rosales, four sister-in-laws, seven brothers-in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at First Assembly of God, 4570 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Kurt Cullison will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. were family and friends may gather for a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. and on Friday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. A celebration and committal of her remains at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 3440 S. Washington, Saginaw, MI will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a fund to be set up for her daughter, Genesiss education.
