Judge Glenn E. Jordan Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare at the age of 93 years. The son of the late Erval and Edna (Tracey) Jordan was born on March 14, 1921 in Finlay, Illinois. Glenn grew up between Detroit and Moweaqua, Illinois; graduating from Moweaqua High School, the class of 1939. He was captain of his high school basketball team, which was the Meridian Conference Champions in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a sergeant and was stationed in the Pacific and European Theatres. Glenn married LaBonne W. "Deanie" Hasty, she predeceased him in 1989. He was a graduate of the University of Detroit with both a degree in accounting and a judicial doctorate. Glenn retired as a Saginaw County Probate Judge where he served from 1958 until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed reading, writing, listening to music and bird watching. Surviving is a brother, Francis "Frank" Jordan, many nieces and a nephew, his dear friends Dana and Irene Kilts. He was predeceased by a sister, and a close friend, Donald Kilts. In accordance with the Judge's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by W. L.
